 Bij Mare op school hebben alle kinderen een blauwe zak voor hun jas. Beetje saai en lastig te herkennen. We hebben hem versierd met deze gezellige paddenstoeltjes

 At Mare's school all the children have a blue bag for their coats. A bit boring and hard to find. So we decorated hers with these cute mushrooms

Stranddag - A day at the beach

 Op bevrijdingsdag gaan wij traditiegetrouw, zoals een echte Haarlemmer behoort naar bevrijdingspop, maar dit jaar niet! We vinden Leen nog een beetje te klein, en sloegen dus over. Maar we hebben er natuurlijk wel een hele leuke dag van gemaakt! Eerst heel lang spelen met zand en water, daarna eten op het strand!

 In Haarlem there is a big popmusic festival on the 5th of may, our celebrationday for the liberation of Holland in WW2. We always go there but this year we skipped.

Ofcaurse we did have to make it a very nice day, for it is special to us. We went to the beach, played with alot of sand and water and ate in a beachrestaurant.

Leuke dingen met Mare - Fun Things with Mare

 Het was een weekje vakantie hier, en toen Lena op woensdag naar de opvang ging, zijn we met Mare met de trein naar Amsterdam gegaan, om daar het muizenhuis in het echt te zien. Voor wie het niet kent klik hier: muizenhuis

 We had a schoolfree week, and went to Amsterdam to see this amazing dollhouse, made by a women who made a childrensbook with foto's made in this house.

 Lena zit graag overal dicht bij, dus toen Mare helemaal zelf een mooi restaurant aan het bouwen was met Duplo, zat Lena er met veel plezier naar te koekeloeren vanuit haar wippertje

 Lena likes to be in the middle of what happens in the house. So she loved to be here next to Mare playing with the Lego

 We hadden Mare nog een kermis dagje beloofd. Dus hier met papa in de botsauto's, en helemaal alleen in een helicopter

 We promised Mare another day at the carnival, so with het father she went into the bumbing cars and all by herself in the helicopter

Moederdag - Mothersday

 Mare maakt cadeautjes voor de oma's, en ook Lena's handje staat erop.

 Mare made these presents for the grandma's, and also Lena did her share with her hand.

Koninginnendag - Queensday

 Op koninginnendag hebben we eerst verkocht op de vrijmarkt, daarna zijn we lekker met het hele gezin gaan wandelen in onze oranje outfit.

 April 30 is the day of the queen in Holland. Were traditionally wear orange, red, white and blue clothes. After all the celebrations in the town centre, we went for a walk.

 En het was eindelijk ook echt heel mooi weer, iets wat we al dagen gemist hadden. Lena viel zonder dekentje heerlijk in slaap.

 And finally we had some really nice wether, for that was long ago! Lena fell asleep without a blanket in the car.
