Zo is het mutsje van vorige week geworden, Mare is er super blij mee.
This is last weeks hat, Mare loves it.
Dit is het molletje dat wil weten wie er op zijn hoofd heeft gepoept. Het boekje is echt super leuk, maar nu heb ik er voor Mare ook een vilten mol bij gemaakt. Hij stond op tafel toen ze woensdag ochtend beneden kwam, en ze was helemaal blij.
This is the Mole who wants to know, who did his droppings on his head. The booklet is amazingly funny and Mare loves it. Now I made her a felt doll to go with this. He was standing on the table this wednesday morning when she came downstairs. She loves him.
Van mijn moeder heb ik 2 strengen gerecyclede Sari zijde gekregen. De oude sari's worden verwerkt en dan gesponnen. Het is een bijzonder materiaal. Ik ben aan het proberen er een tas van te maken.... hou jullie op de hoogte.
My mother brought me from Australia 2 skeins of recycled sari silk. I am trying to make it into a bag... I will tell you more when i get further....
Dit moet ik nog even laten zien. Ik dacht vorige week al dat ik echt weinig had gemaakt, maar er bleek toch nog iets te zijn. Ik had dit paardje voor Mare gemaakt, helaas zijn zijn benen wat krom en staat hij niet zo goed.... hahahaha.
I had to tell you about this project. Last week I forgot this little horse I made Mare. It is made of handspun merino with silk. But he has trouble standing up and has crooked legs... whahahhaha
I thought of making it a give-away but guess nobody is interested hahahahaha first I'll try to make a good one.

The hat is delightful. I'd like to make one. And my heart goes to the horse. He may not be perfect, but he is trying. Just like my children. Just like me.
